This Privacy Policy explains how Calibrated Valuation LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with AEassistant and aeassistant.com (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account information: the email address you use to register.
- Content you provide: the questions you ask and the information you enter, including loan files and any borrower or applicant details you choose to input.
- Payment information: if you subscribe, your payment is processed by Stripe. We receive limited billing details (such as subscription status and the last four digits of your card) but do not store your full card number.
- Usage and technical data: basic information such as log data and session information needed to operate and secure the Service.
2. How we use information
We use information to: provide and maintain the Service; generate responses and calculations you request; process subscriptions and payments; provide support; secure the Service and prevent abuse; and comply with legal obligations.
3. Artificial intelligence processing
To generate responses, the questions and information you submit are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) through its API. This processing is performed to return results to you. Our AI provider does not use information submitted through its API to train its models.
4. Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to operate the Service, including: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Anthropic (AI processing), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (transactional email). These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers above, as needed to operate the Service, or where required by law or to protect our rights.
6. Responsibility for information you input
The Service lets you enter information that may include details about third parties, such as loan applicants or borrowers. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and legal basis to provide that information and for handling it in compliance with applicable laws and professional obligations. Please avoid entering more sensitive personal information than is necessary for your use of the Service.
7. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and per-user data isolation so that your loan files and conversations are accessible only to your account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us; we will delete or anonymize it except where we are required to retain it by law.
9. Your choices
You may access or update your account information, and you may request correction or deletion of your personal information, by contacting us at support@aeassistant.com. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Service.
10. Cookies and sessions
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you logged in and to operate the Service securely.
11. Children
The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
